En route to the finals!

FINAL SCORE: UTM 53 - PHE 50 (OT)

UTM knew it was going to be a tough game, as this was the only team to beat them in the regular season (we finished at #1 with a record of 5-1). Despite being shorthanded on the bench, PHE came out with a lot of intensity and took control of the game quickly. They held a lead for most of the game, with an advantage of up to 10 points. However, UTM played an entirely different game in the second half and switched up the momentum. They quickly caught up and tied up the game to go into overtime and save themselves. It was a back and forth battle but the Eagles came out with the win!

Great job girls! Special mention goes out to Genevieve Maltais-Lapointe, who definitely came clutch in this game!

Our Ladies Div 1 Basketball will advance to the finals next week against PT/OT. The game will be held in Gym A/B at 8PM and will be hosted by UTMAC. This means free pizza, halftime shows and contests, and free giveaways!
